Delphi Caret Position Tedit

Delphi tedit caret position

I want to have the cursor moved to the beginning of the text whenever the mouse cursor enters the TEdit. The OnEnter event is a tad too early for that, so if you do not want to create a TEdit descendent with an overriden message handler for WMSETFOCUS you need to delay the action by posting a message to the form and have the handler for that message do the HideCaret. How To Scroll Caret to Position. Nephila (Programmer) (OP) 18 May 02 06:37. I'm pretty new to Delphi, so this may sound like a stupid question, but how can I scroll the caret in a RichEdit to an exact position say something like (line5,char10)? Thanks for any help!!! Delphi Tedit Caret Position

  1. Solution 1) save the caret position before lines are added and scroll back to it afterward. Surround with a beginupdate endupdate to minimize flashing. I.e., save caret position beginupdate add lines scroll back to save caret position endupdate. Problem with this is I still get a flash once every block read (about 10- 20 lines).

I can use any number of tools to see what ports I have listening and/or connected. But among the *Listening* ports, some are 127.0.0.1 and some are 0.0.0.0.
